Netflix adds Dolby Atmos support

Netflix has announced that the film Okja will be the first production on the streaming service to feature Dolby Atmos support. The surround sound technology is designed to make films as immersive as possibly by allowing filmmakers to designate where sounds are coming from in three-dimensional space. Initially the technology will only be available to viewers who stream Okja on an Xbox One and Xbox One S, with support for 2017 LG OLED TVs coming soon.
