Netflix completes migration of streaming services to AWS

Netflix has completed the migration of its streaming operations to Amazon Web Services (AWS), the streaming movie company's vice president of cloud and platforms, Yury Izrailevsky, told Ars Technica. In its lengthy report the publication quotes a Netflix blog post that says, "We are happy to report that in early January of 2016, after seven years of diligent effort, we have finally completed our cloud migration and shut down the last remaining data center bits used by our streaming service."
