Netflix helps set up Italian film industry relief fund with EUR 1 mln donation

Netflix has teamed up with the Italian Film Commissions association to set up a Covid-19 Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund for professionals in the film and TV industry unable to work during the coronavirus pandemic. The streaming giant committed to donating an initial EUR 1 million to launch the fund managed by the association with a view to providing relief to workers affected by the temporary halt in productions, with other industry players also invited to contribute.
