Netflix 'not fazed' by Amazon spending power

Monday 7 September 2015 | 10:59 CET | News
Netflix's Chief Product Officer Neil Hunt has suggested that former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are not worth the money paid by rival streaming service Amazon Prime. In an interview with Digital Spy, Hunt said that he thought the presenters sold themselves for more money than they are worth, but stressed that if was not up to Netflix to judge if Amazon paid too much. He also said that Netflix was not fazed by Amazon's high spending power, insisting that Netflix was 'still in a good place' in the market.
