Netflix opposes regulation of Dutch video market

Netflix is against any levies on revenues from streaming services in the Netherlands, nor does it see a need for Dutch production quotas, Het Financieele Dagblad reports. The US-based company outlined its position in a hearing in parliament on developments in the media sector, with the company's public policy director Janneke Sloetjes as well as public and commercial broadcasters giving testimony.
