Netflix ramping up local content production in Europe and Asia

Netflix is set to rapidly increase content production in key markets across Europe and Asia this year, according to the latest report from Ampere Analysis. The streaming giant has seen significant growth in these markets, adding 8 and 9 million subscribers respectively between 2017 and 2018, and is investing heavily in localised foreign language content with a view to maintaining subscriber growth and fighting domestic competition.
