Netflix has announced it now has more than 30 million streaming members globally, including over 25 million in the US. Netflix hit the 10 million member milestone in 2009 and that number jumped to 20 million members by the end of 2010 with the widespread adoption of the Netflix steaming video service in the US and Canada. The expansion over the last 22 months comes from both the continued growth of US and Canadian streaming subscribers and the introduction of Netflix "watch instantly" service to new markets in Latin America and Europe.
