Netflix reaches 4 mln Nordic subscribers, up 15% year on year

Wednesday 11 December 2019 | 13:35 CET | News
Swedish consultancy Mediavision said Netflix remains the leading subscription video on demand (SVoD) provider in the Nordic region and now has 4 million subscribers there, up by 15 percent since autumn 2018.  Netflix' annual growth is on par with total SVoD market growth this year, but rivals have had larger growth rates. These include regional provider Viaplay, TV2 in Denmark, TV2 Sumo in Norway and Ruutu+ in Finland.
