Netflix rolls out new web service in France with 'Live' scheduled programmes

Thursday 5 November 2020 | 16:32 CET | News
Netflix has started offering a new option called 'Direct' ('Live'), initially available to French customers on the web version of the streaming platform, reports Frandroid. Imitating a linear TV service, the 'Live' button gives access to a 24-hour schedule of programmes picked among Netflix's most watched content in France. Following a gradual roll-out, the availability of 'Live' should be extended to all subscribers using the web version of Netflix by early December.
