Netflix says members like to binge-watch TV series

Thursday 9 June 2016 | 11:58 CET | News
Netflix members worldwide are choosing to binge their way through an entire TV series, finishing on average one whole season in a week. Netflix analysed more than 100 serialised TV series across more than 190 countries between October 2015 and May 2016. It examined member completion of the first season for all series and found when members are focused on finishing a series, they watch a little over two hours a day to complete a season. Using this data, Netflix has created The Binge Scale to show how different series are watched.
