Netflix set to overtake Sky satellite TV homes in UK by end-2018

Research from consultancy Ampere Analysis shows that Netflix will end 2018 with 9.78 million subscribers in the UK, reports The Guardian. This will make Netflix the largest pay-TV company in the UK, overtaking Sky, which is expected to have 9.64 million satellite TV households at end-2018 after losing 55,000 satellite households during the year.
