Netflix signs new licensing deal with The CW Network

Netflix and The CW Network, JV between CBS and Warner Bros. Entertainment, have signed a new multi-year content licensing agreement. This allows Netflix to remain the exclusive US subscription TV service for previous seasons of scripted series broadcast on The CW. The new agreement covers all current CW series, as well as all future programmes produced for the network during the term of the new agreement, which begins with the just-completed 2015/2016 broadcast season. From the 2016/2017 season, Netflix members will be able to stream full seasons for each of these programmes starting eight
