Netflix starts billing in Kenyan shillings

Netflix has announced that it has started billing viewers in Kenya in local currency. Netflix will charge KES 700 for the basic package, KES 950 for standard and KES 1,200 for the premium package. It was previously charging USD 7.99 (KES 803), USD 9.99 (KES 1,000) and USD 11.99 (KES 1,200) for the basic, standard and premium packages respectively.
