Netflix starts weekly content rankings based on hours viewed

Wednesday 17 November 2021 | 15:23 CET | News
Netflix has unveiled plans to launch a "Top 10 on Netflix" ranking every week. A new website has started, with global and country lists of the most popular titles shown on the streaming service. These rankings will be updated every Tuesday, based on hours viewed from Monday to Sunday of the previous week, for both original and licensed titled. There will be global top 10 lists for films and TV programmes in both English and non-English, and rankings for over 90 countries. The website is currently available in English and Spanish; more languages will be added next year.
