Netflix subscriber growth slows in UK - report

Monday 14 August 2017 | 10:25 CET | News
Netflix's strong growth in the UK appears to be coming to an end, according to data seen by the Sunday Telegraph. The company does not publish subscriber data for the UK. However, a confidential analysis seen by the newspaper, based partly on data from TV industry group BARB, shows that Netflix remained on 5.7 million subscribers in the UK in 2016. It added 400,000 UK subscribers over the Christmas period, but has remained at around 6.1 million subscribers in 2017.
