Netgem wants to strengthen Videofutur business as STB sales continue to fall in Q4

Netgem has reported consolidated revenues of EUR 10.8 million for the fourth quarter, down 34 percent year-on-year (-36% in Q3). Net revenues (gross sales minus cost of hardware sold) contracted by 33 percent to EUR 4.7 million. In response to the ongoing slowdown of its set-top box (STB) business, the company has unveiled a strategic plan that will be submitted to shareholders at the next annual general meeting, on 14 May. Under this plan, Netgem intends to move its cloud-based multi-screen platform and digital recording business to Videofutur, the brand of fibre ISP Vitis in which Netgem
