Netherlands looks at free roaming in Benelux

The Dutch government said it's looking at ending roaming surcharges in the wider Benelux area. Belgium and Luxembourg already have a similar agreement, and the Netherlands could be added to this. Parliament supports the move, and the ministry aims to come with a proposal in the third quarter. In a parliamentary debate 02 July, Minster Henk Kamp said he was satisfied with the recent EU compromise to end roaming charges from mid-2017. The Belgian and Luxembourg regulators announced in May an agreement aimed at ending roaming charges for residents traveling between their two countries. The
