New Cricket Wireless launches with no annual contracts

Monday 19 May 2014 | 14:59 CET | News
The new Cricket Wireless has launched a new no contract wireless service on a nationwide LTE network covering more than 280 million Americans. The new company is a result of the combination of Cricket Wireless and Aio Wireless two months after AT&T closed its acquisition of Leap Wireless International, which had operated the Cricket brand. Aio, AT&T's wholly owned subsidiary and no-annual-contract brand, will now be known as Cricket Wireless.
