New GSMA IoT guidelines tackle cybersecurity threat

The GSMA has published a new set of industry-backed guidelines designed to promote the secure development and deployment of services in the Internet of Things (IoT) market. The GSMA's guidelines were drafted with the support of mobile operators such as AT&T, China Telecom, Etisalat, KDDI, NTT DOCOMO, Orange, Telefonica, Telenor and Verizon, as well as vendor and infrastructure companies including 7Layers, Ericsson, Gemalto, Morpho, Telit and u-blox.
