The new version of the Horizon set-top box used by Dutch operator Ziggo customers is much better than it's predecessor, according to a user test by local site Totaal TV. The Horizon first launched by UPC in the Netherlands was plagued by complaints from users. Many of these were addressed in firmware updates, but it was difficult for the cable operator to shake the bad reviews. The new Horizon GW 7401 is smaller and comes with a faster processor than its predecessor. This allows for quicker navigation on the device, with cloud interface elements loading faster.
