Greek telecommunications authority EETT said new regulations on fixed and mobile number portability entered into force on 4 June. The new rules are meant to improve the portability processes, maximise the benefits consumers get, and further develop the competition resulting from the implementation of number portability. According to one new rule, subscribers have the right to withdraw without any charge and explanation from the porting process either remotely via telephone, internet or fax or in their operator's shops.
