Newco Amiscora acquires 22% of Tiscali as founder Soru returns

Italian operator Tiscali announced that an investment vehicle run by former CDP chairman Claudio Costamagna, former Metroweb CEO Alberto Trondoli and Fastweb director Manilo Marocco has agreed to acquire a 22.06 percent stake in the company from Russian group Otkritie at a price per share of EUR 0.0085. The aim is to relaunch Tiscali alongside founder and 7.9 percent investor Renato Soru. A board meeting has been called on 13 May to discuss governance.
