Nextel Brasil starts ad campaign ahead of iDEN network shutdown

Brazilian mobile operator Nextel has launched a new advertising campaign, aired on the country's main TV stations and online and featuring actor Joao Cortes, reports Jornal Dia Dia. In the campaign, Nextel Brasil invites customers to switch operators. According to Raniery Aranha, director of marketing for Nextel, the campaign marks the beginning of a new chapter in the company's history. Aranha said that the operator will shut down the iDEN network at the end of May, adding that investments will continue for improving 4G coverage, introducing innovative plans and upping the quality of
