Nextel commercially launches mobile services in Chile

Nextel has officially launched its mobile voice and broadband services in Chile. Nextel already has around 100 mobile customers on the local market, and targets over 2 million customers over the next three years, EFE reports, citing Nextel Chile president Claudio Hidalgo. Nextel also announced it will add a PTT offering to its services portfolio in Chile. Nextel has commercially launched its mobile broadband offering in Chile in mid-March, and has now added voice services to its commercial offering. Nextel currently has some 100 sales points across Chile. Overall investments in its network
