Nextel Mexico removes roaming charges in US border towns

Mexican mobile operator Nextel, now owned by AT&T, has announced the launch of new plans dubbed "Sin Frontera", aimed at users living in cities near the US-Mexico border. The main feature of the plans is the ability to make calls and use mobile data in cities located on both sides of the border without paying any additional roaming charges. The cities covered under the plans are Ciudad Juarez, Ensenada, Matamoros, Mexicali, Monterrey, Nogales, Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, San Luis Rio Colorado, Saltillo, Tecate and Tijuana.
