Nextel returns to subscriber growth in Q4

Wednesday 11 March 2015 | 10:00 CET | News
NII Holdings, which operates under the Nextel brand in Latin America, announced a return to net subscriber growth in the fourth quarter. The mobile operator added 129,000 new customers in the three months, its first net increase since Q2 2013. Over the full year it still lost a net 61,400 customers, to finish the year with a total 9.184 million. The company said results were still short of its expectations, but it sees the quarter as a turning point on its way to restoring growth and profitability. NII narrowed its net loss to USD 515 million in the quarter, from USD 746 million a year
