Nigerian government plans to resume TV digital switchover soon

The Nigerian government says it will soon resume the Digital Switch Over (DSO), reports CommunicationsWeek. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, said the DSO suffered setbacks and was put on hold after it was launched in six states. He said the government is committed to spreading the benefits of digital television to the public, saying that it was the fastest way to create jobs.
