Nigerian govt signs digital skills training agreement with IBM

The Nigerian communication and digital economy ministry has agreed a partnership with IBM in digital skills development. The scheme will start in February and will train young people in digital literacy to support innovation, design and development of indigenous products, as well as self-sufficiency. Through its Digital Nation Africa Initiative, IBM will provide free training to Nigerians for twelve to sixteen weeks in diverse areas of information technology.
