Nine of ten Germans go online on phone several times daily

Nine out of ten people (89%) in Germany use the internet on their mobile phone several times a day, according to the fifth ‚Mobile 360 Degrees' study by publisher Gruner and Jahr's marketing arm, G+J EMS. It said 72 percent of people under 30 years old do so for 40 minutes a day, but only 10 percent of those over 60 do so. Half of the older age group surfs on their mobiles for a maximum of 20 minutes per day.
