Nkom sharpens Telenor mobile wholesale price regulation

Thursday 17 September 2015 | 13:59 CET | News
Norwegian regulator Nkom said it has issued a notice that Telenor will continue to have special obligation to allow rivals to provide mobile services via its network. In view of the competition difficulties on the market, it said access price regulation will be sharpened. It says Telenor maintains a strong position on the whole sale mobile telephony market. More than 50 percent of all mobile subscribers in Norway are Telenor customers, and the operator has a 56 percent share of mobile customers revenue.
