Nkom to receive extra funding for focus on broadband, better security

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom said that the national draft budget for 2019 proposes an increase of eleven full time-equivalent posts at the watchdog in order to support the implementation of the broadband directive into Norwegian law. The draft budget ear-marks NOK 15.7 million towards this work, which will require national coordination, systems development, and staff recruitment.
