Nkom urges public to use approved price comparison websites

Norwegian electronic communications regulator Nkom is encouraging the use of the price comparison websites that it has accredited over the past six months for mobile and broadband services. When it comes to subscriptions with relatively little data, such as 1 GB, then customers can save more than NOK 1,000 annually. Last year, the consumer council criticised Nkom for deciding not to re-start its own price comparison site,saying this would lead to lack of objectivity.
