Nkom woos software firms to support passive infrastructure information portal

Norwegian communications regulator Nkom is seeking suppliers of relevant software to assist in the provision of information for its Ekomportalen website of passive infrastructure. Under the broadband expansion law of July 2020, certain organisations must forward geographic location data regarding their assets for the Ekomportal, such as network operators, telecom providers, municipal and county councils, and transport companies including road owners.
