NLziet to keep viewers on platform, plans live TV test

The Dutch OTT TV platform NLziet announced changes to its service based on feedback from users. The most important change is that all programmes are available to watch within the platform, rather than users being sent to the individual broadcasters' sites. NLziet offers programmes from the public broadcaster NPO as well as the commercial channels from RTL and SBS. In 2017, it plans to add live TV to the platform. Other new features planned include remembering where a viewer left off in an episode so they can resume later, increased functionality for subtitles and the ability to watch previews
