No agreement between Delta and Discovery

Friday 5 May 2017 | 11:02 CET | News
On 5 May, operator Delta, active in the province of Zeeland, will cease to broadcast the TV channels Discovery, TLC, ID, Animal Planet and Eurosport. Discovery Networks Benelux and Delta declined to elaborate on the failure or the course of the negotiations, or on price and other contract terms. Discovery says is is disappointed and emphasised that there are other TV providers in Zeeland. On 6 May, it will offer a promotion of one month free subscription to Eurosport Player, its OTT app; after the promotional month, the service will cost EUR 6.99 per month.
