No link proven between WiFi, trees dying - Antennebureau

The Dutch Antennebureau, under direction of spectrum regulator Agentschap Telecom, said that reports over dying trees along Wi-Fi networks are premature. The municipality of Alphen aan de Rijn is investigating the health of trees in the area, together with the University of Wageningen (WUR). Various media therefore concluded that trees die because of Wi-Fi. A researcher from the university indicated that these are initial results that have not been confirmed in a repeat study, Antennebureau noted.
