Nokia adds touchscreen phones to Asha range
Nokia has unveiled three new phones in its Asha range aimed at emerging markets. The new models Asha 305, 306 and 311 introduce touch screens in the range and take the line to a total ten devices. They come with the new Nokia Browser 2.0, 40 EA games to be downloaded free and 15 levels of Angry Birds.

The dual-Sim Asha 305 will launch this month already at a recommended price of EUR 63. It features a 3-inch WQVGA screen, Bluetooth, dual-band connectivity and a 2MP camera. The Asha 306 comes with all the same features but also adds WLAN. It will ship from Q3 at EUR 68. The Asha 311, a compact device in a range of colours, will also ship in Q3, at a price of EUR 92. It features a 3.2MP camera, a pre-loaded social client to access Facebook, Twitter and other global social networks and a range of popular messaging services such as WhatsApp.

Nokia also announced that the Nokia Store has just broken the 5 billion downloads landmark. From January to April, 42 percent of all content downloaded from the Nokia Store was delivered to Asha and other Nokia devices based on Java, up from 10 percent a year earlier.
