Nokia AVA Energy Efficiency claims to cut telco power bills by up to 20%

Nokia said it has launched its Nokia AVA Energy Efficiency service, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help Communications Service Providers (CSPs) cut energy bills by up to 20 percent and move towards more sustainable patterns of usage. In November, ABI Research forecast that the energy consumption of CSPs would rise by 160 percent by 2030, even though 5G networks are up to 90 percent more efficient than 4G ones.
