Nokia Bell Labs, NTT Docomo to trial 5G service using 90 GHz frequencies

Nokia and Japanese operator NTT Docomo are collaborating at the Brooklyn 5G Summit to showcase a 5G innovation designed to deliver massive-capacity to address the increased demand in video data and applications. Nokia and NTT Docomo are working together to create services that will support the delivery of mobile broadband applications for 5G. Nokia Bell Labs and NTT Docomo agreed to perform joint study and trials on 5G evolution using 90 GHz frequencies.
