Nokia chairman asks former CEO to waive pay-off - report

Nokia chairman Risto Siilasmaa asked former CEO Stephen Elop if he would give up part or all of his EUR 18.8 million pay-off amid growing anger over the payment, reports the Financial Times. According to one person familiar with the matter and Helsingin Sanomat newspaper, Elop said he could not do that as he was in the process of divorcing his wife.
