Nokia extends Comptel takeover offer

Monday 3 April 2017 | 10:56 CET | News
Nokia has extended its offer for Comptel shares to 19 April. At the close of the initial offer period, the company had acquired 85.30 percent of the shares on a fully diluted basis. While this is below the minimum 90 percent set out in the bid, Nokia said it has decided to waive this condition in order to go ahead with the takeover. As the company already holds over 90 percent of shares excluding treasury shares, it may proceed with an offer to redeem the remaining shares outstanding.
