Nokia files RFID patent lawsuits against HTC
Nokia has filed a lawsuit against HTC in the southern district of California over three patents related to RFID, reports the Foss Patents blog. All three US patents are entitled "Terminal, method and computer program products for interacting with a signalling tag". The accused products include the HTC One, One S, V, VX and X+, the first First and others. Nokia has previously asserted around 40 different patents against HTC in the US, Germany and the UK.

ITC to investigate Nokia complaint against HTC

The US International Trade Commission announced it will investigate claims of patent infringement by Nokia against HTC. Nokia requested that the ITC issue a sale ban on the infringing phones. An administrative law judge will investigate the case initially to offer a preliminary ruling, wihich will then be reviewed by the commission.

HTC wins German court ruling in Nokia patent case

HTC scored a victory against Nokia after a German district court dismissed a complaint by the Finnish company that HTC had infringed one of its patents. HTC loses Dutch patent case against Nokia

An Amsterdam court has ruled against HTC, saying it unlawfully used Nokia's microphone technology, Nu.nl reported. It is not yet clear what the consequences of the ruling will be for HTC, such as for example, a possible ban of the HTC One which includes the technology. Nokia has won a patent infringement suit in Germany against HTC. According to the ruling by the Mannheim court, HTC's use in Qualcomm processors in its phones of a Nokia technology for reducing power use is a violation of the Finnish company's intellectual property. Nokia files patent suits against HTC, RIM, Viewsonic

Nokia is turning more aggressive in the mobile patent wars, filing claims in the US and Germany alleging that products from HTC, Research In Motion and Viewsonic infringe a number of its patents.
