Nokia introduces IoT connectivity platform for LTE networks

Nokia Networks launched its IoT connectivity product for LTE core and radio networks, aimed at making existing LTE networks IoT ready. Nokia proposes a three-step approach, starting with the migration of subscriber data management and then gateways and mobility management. This allows operators to migrate their core domains so they can tackle the mix of mobile broadband and M2M traffic in a cost-efficient way. The new IoT connectivity platform consists of two elements: Nokia's Core for IoT and its enhanced Smart Scheduler for LTE radio.
