Nokia Plan B gets short life

An attempt to unseat Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop has quickly ended. A group of nine unnamed Nokia shareholders published a manifesto online dubbed Nokia Plan B, to counter the company's strategy and partnership with Microsoft at Nokia's annual general meeting scheduled May 3 in Helsinki. In addition to a call for the immediate dismissal of Elop, the group wanted MeeGo as Nokia's primary smartphone platform, another five years at least of Symbian, and a restructuring of the Microsoft deal in order to focus on North America.
