Nokia Siemens breaks even in Q4 despite stronger sales

Nokia Siemens Networks reported a 9 percent year-on-year increase in fourth-quarter sales to EUR 3.96 billion, driven by growth in both the product and services businesses in most regions. An improvement in components availability and a seasonal pick-up in the infrastructure market helped sales grow 35 percent sequentially. Operating profit came in at just EUR 1 million, versus 17 million a year ago, and the adjusted margin dropped to zero from 0.5 percent.
