Nokia Siemens completes takeover of Motorola networks

Nokia Siemens Networks has completed the acquisition of the Motorola networks business from Motorola Solutions for USD 975 million. As of 30 April, responsibility for supporting networks based on Motorola's GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, Wimax and LTE equipment transfers to Nokia Siemens Networks. This includes contracts with 50 operators in 52 countries, as well as the transfer of 6,900 employees to NSN.
