Nokia workers in Nigeria strike over casual staff, lack of contracts, expatriate quota

Members of the Private Telecommunications and Communications Senior Staff Association at Nokia Nigeria have commenced a three-day warning strike to protest against anti-labour practices by the management of the company, reports CommunicationsWeek. Okonu Abdullahi, general secretary of the association, said that the workers would go on an indefinite strike at the expiry of the warning strike.
