Nordic OTT viewing up 30% a year, global giants dominate

Swedish consultancy Mediavision said it has compiled its fifth annual analysis of the Nordic OTT market and found that the market is currently undergoing a rapid transformation. On an average day, about one third of the Nordic population watches streamed video, indicating a yearly growth rate of over 30 percent. Most viewers watch content from international giants such as YouTube, Facebook and Netflix.
