Nordic traditional TV viewing time drops 6% year on year from August to September

Traditional, linear television in the Nordic region is failing to recapture ground lost to streaming, despite new series premiering this autumn, said consultancy Medivision. Total viewing time for traditional TV in Sweden from mid-August to mid-September 2019 decreased by 6 percent year on year. Bonnier Broadcasting suffered a 7 percent fall, Nordic Entertainment 11 percent and public broadcaster SVT 5 percent, but Discovery had a 3 percent increase.
