Nordic video piracy stands at 16% in spring

In spring 2017, 16 percent of people in the Nordic region aged 15-74 years admitted to illegal downloading and streaming of video content in the previous month, said consultancy Mediavision. It said the rate was highest in Sweden at 24 percent, which was three times higher than in Finland. Nordic pirates watch approximately 400 million films and TV episodes on a yearly basis, it said.
